Welcome to the official home of the South Texas Golf Club Association, the premier social league for amateur golfers in the RGV. Based out of the historic Monte Cristo Golf and Country Club in Edinburg, we are a community dedicated to the spirit of the game, friendly competition, and the camaraderie that only happens on the fairway.

There is no better place to call home than Monte Cristo. With its signature RGV landscapes, challenging water hazards, and welcoming atmosphere, it provides the perfect backdrop for our league play. We take pride in our home course and the community we’re building right here in the heart of the Valley.

• Connect Local Golfers: Meet players from all over South Texas who share your passion.

• Organize Amateur Play: Enjoy structured rounds and events without the "country club" pressure.

• Grow the Game: We welcome all skill levels, focusing on sportsmanship and improving together.

Ready to tee it up with the STXGCA? Here is how we play:

• Schedule: To accommodate everyone's weekend, we alternate between Saturday and Sunday each week.

• Tee Times: We start our rounds in the morning at 8:00 AM.

• Register: All scoring and event registration is handled through the 18Birdies app. Search for our league in the app to join.

• Stay Connected: Most of our day-to-day coordination happens in our WhatsApp chat. To join the conversation, simply ask another player or an admin to add you to the group!
